Hi David,

I don't know that I've ever seen that before. Sounds like maybe something on the hosting end but hard to say. Feel fee to email support@flexcms.com with your site's URL and login info and I can take a look.

Login Error "No input file specified. "July 9, 2014 @ 8:40am
Hello,

The site has been running great for years now. Starting Sunday, I would get the front page and proceed to login and the next page after hitting submit I get this message

No input file specified.

That's as far as it will go.. I replaced my index file with a backup but that did nothing. Any ideas what is going on?

I'm guessing they mean they modified index.PHP, not HTML, but that aside it sounds like they did what I was going to suggest. You can check and see what your index.php looks like. Line 14 should have been changed, that's where the error reporting is set.

Originally it would have been:
Code

error_reporting (E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE)
changing it to:
Code

error_reporting (E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_DEPRECATED);
will suppress the deprecated function warnings.

I won't go into my gripes with the way PHP chose to handle that issue here...

Hello David,

You are a real stand up guy and thank you for your offer. My friend discovered that we could not load my domain into any site i.e. copyscape, html.site.maps etc. without the server error coming up. I went back to the lunar pages help desk a second time and told them this and I finally got someone to listen to me.

Anyway, I copied their response to me for what it is worth. I hope it may help you or someone else with a similar issue in the future.

Cheers! I am back in the game again! See below their response and thank you!

A technician responded to your ticket with:

Hi Edward,

Thanks for your follow up.

The problem was with the function split() that FlexCMS was trying to use. As was mentioned in the link provided, split() needs to be replaced by explode() in newer versions of PHP.

With that, I've made the change and have ran both Copyscpae and XML-Sitemap without issues. Additionally, I saved a copy of your old (untouched) index file, under the name indexOLD.html

Hope this helps.

Regards,

The broken image URL looks like it's in the FlexCMS code or possibly the template. Feel free to email your site login and FTP info to if you'd like me to take a look.

thank you so much for your looking. I will try to run this image issue down. I did take some links off recently and maybe that fixed it. thanks again!

Hello,

You've got a couple separate issues there;

- The "file does not exist" seems to be an image that's trying to load from a bad URL (http://rustichomedecorguide.com/imageshttp://rustichomedecorguide.com/images/spacer.gif). That's not great, but shouldn't cause any big problems and most users probably won't even notice.

- The "PHP Deprecated: Function split()" doesn't seem to be happening when you visit the site now, so I'm not sure if you changed something or your host did. It's a notice not an error, so it's possible you or they changed the settings so those notices don't show anymore.

Neither of those should have any impact on SEO. I'm no SEO wizard but my best guess would be the search engine(s) in question made some change that now punishes rather than rewards something you were employing.

Help! PHP Deprecated: Function split() is deprecated in /June 8, 2014 @ 9:42am
I am a newbie with flex (my first site) and this is only my second site ever. All seemed to be going well until I noticed I got de-indexed from google and I am getting error messages on my server. My server host told me this is something I did with SEO and my domain and server are running correctly?

I have exhausted all my resources including my friend that got me onto flex and he suggested that I try to find out by posting on the flexCMS forum? So here I am; has anyone seen this before? any ideas what I need to do to fix? Help! and thank you for looking...

sample of error message(s) from my server below:

Thanks David!
It is working for me now! I had a feeling it was something missing, maybe my fault I hadn't applied the upgrades in awhile.

I really appreciate your help and uploading the missing files for me.
