Wolf,

It looks like some files were missing in the upgrade process (a 3.2 issue -- upgrade to 3.2.1 if you did any sites yourself). You should be all set there now. Any events you modified and saved may need to be corrected, other existing events that weren't modified should be fine as they are.

Sure did...

I created a new account level (03),
checked the following permissions:
* newsletter,
* file manager,
* upload plain text, and
* upload office/document files
and assigned that to the user account.

It's the Lavista Park site you and otter had been helping upgrade.

If you'd like to send FTP and FlexCMS access for the site to I'd be happy to take a look and see.

Wolf,

There's a "File Manager" permission available, did you add that to the user level yet?

I'm working on configuring the file manager settings for our newsletter manager. We want to give him permissions to upload pdf files to a "/newsletters/pdf/" directory.

The directories have been created.

The following permissions for the /newsletters/ directory:
minimum level required to modify folder: 1
minimum level required to add files: 1
minimum level required to add folders: 1
minimum level required to view: 1

The following permissions for the /newsletters/pdf/ directory:
minimum level required to modify folder: 100
minimum level required to add files: 3
minimum level required to add folders: 1
minimum level required to view: 1

I, as superuser, am able to upload/download files to/from it using the file manager.

I created a block that queries the new file table and builds a dynamic list of files in the "/newsletters/pdf/" directory, with links to download the files.

I created a new account level (03), checked the following permissions: newsletter, file manager, upload plain text, and upload office/document files.

Created a test account and assigned level 03 to it. When I login using that account and go to control panel, I don't see a File Manager link.

My question, is there something else I need to set to activate the control panel file manager link for level 3?

Thanks,
Wolf

Wolf,

Have a look in your Advanced Site Settings section and make sure the timezone setting is correct. If that doesn't do anything for you let us know and we'll have a look.

v3.2 and calendar datesMay 13, 2010 @ 10:48am
I have an installation that was recently upgraded from v2.5 to v3.2 (thank you for your assistance). A user noticed that the calendar dates of existing entries were shifted by a day. Has anyone else experienced this?

FlexCMS 3.2.1 Released!May 11, 2010 @ 11:09pm
FlexCMS 3.2.1 has been released!

What’s Fixed:

- Creating Bulk Links to existing pages with the “Links To Pages” Block Wizard now functions as it should.

- Upgrades from versions older than 3.1 may not have included all required files to receive the complete 3.2 upgrade. This has been corrected, simply upgrade to 3.2.1 and be sure to upload all the files in the package.

- Code Snippetscontaining spaces are now replaced with underscores (_) to ensure they function correctly.

What’s New:

- Photo Galleries: Two new layout options added for the main photo galleries list. In addition to left, right, and alternating with gallery name and description you can now also select a table format with two or three to a row with just the thumbnail and gallery title.

- Code Snippets: Five new code snippets added to the FULL version installer for your snipping pleasure. These include a list of news/article categories, a list of store categories, a random photo from the galleries, a list of calendar events for today’s date, and membership information with the number of total users and most recently registered user. Please note that this is only in the full version, but you can also get the code here if you’d like to use them on an existing installation.
