Atrocityarts/ Turtle13 | August 30, 2008 @ 8:02pm | FlexCMs is the easiest, fastest, "non blog-looking", fully functional CMS solution. Don't want to learn any HTML or think about python to run a Zope/Plone install? Don't want to spend all your free time customizing Drupal or Joomla? You or your clients have no idea what any of that means...and they don't care so long as the site looks clean, professional, and has all the features they have seen other sites use? Use FlexCMS.

Vancouver Food Cooperative, Vancouver Washington | August 30, 2008 @ 6:55pm | How do you set up a fully functional CMS that just about anyone can learn to use in not too long a time without too many headaches? Set up a FlexCMS site!
I have played, tinkered, tweaked, and run a number of other CMS into the ground, and if you are in the business of helping others get their site/project off the ground without having to be their dedicated IT help, or making them fork over lots of time and cash, the choice is obvious...

| August 30, 2008 @ 1:48pm | H,
Unfortunately you can only have one instance of each module at this time. We're working on a way to have additional ones, but it's a pretty complex problem and requires a huge re-write of the main FlexCMS code.
I've seen a few other sites make an additional FlexCMS installation in a subfolder to gain another one. It's not a great solution but definitely a workable option.

calendar - multiples instances | August 29, 2008 @ 11:24pm | While I understand the permissions options to have different views on the calendaring system, is there a way to run two different calendars? This option would allow for me to have volunteer coordination through my site and have a community calendar that is open for all to view. I don't want to have the one calendar show all the community events. And, it would just be very handy to have a separate calendar in conjunction with a forum just for the volunteers.
any ideas? (other than install another calendar system!)

| August 29, 2008 @ 11:55am | You can change the text direction by modifying your template.php file under the template folder you wish to use. You simply need to add the direction tag, such as <HTML DIR="RTL"> in place of the non-direction one.
It's not possible to have multiple languages on a site at this time, aside from you creating separate groups of pages and blocks and linking them accordingly.

| August 28, 2008 @ 2:25pm | You can either modify the IMG SRC portion of the block that's already there, or just create your own new block with the image HTML code you desire.
