Forum help with posting | January 17, 2007 @ 5:17am | is there away to get e-mail when a new posting is add to the forum and then if it ok you can then let it go live as we had a few porn posting etc etc and we cannot stop them all

Unfortunately there isn't an approval system in place for the forum.
You can, however, limit it to just registered users if you would like. To do this just change the Minimum Level for the boards and/or categories to 1. Also make sure you remove the forum posting permissions from the Guest permission level.

A completely separate forum isn't possible in the current version, but most likely will be in the next one.
You can, however, create boards and categories with various permission levels, so certain users will have access to special areas, while others will not.
