Any changes to a member's username can be done by editing one's profile. You can visit the FlexCMS Training Manual concerning Edit Profile here:

Before you go to change it, make sure you are allowing members to change their username as that is an option in your FlexCMS Control Panel.
To view what setting you currently have, simply go to your Control Panel and scroll down until you see the Preferences and Settings box. Then click on the Modify Site Preferences link. Click on that link and scroll down until you see:
Allow Username Changes?
Yes No
If enabled, users will be able to modify their username in their profile. If disabled, usernames can not be changed.
If this is set to No, you must change it to Yes and then save your changes. Once that is completed, you may then Edit your profile and change your username.
