IE 7 How To Roll It Back to IE 6 (FlexCMS Editor) | April 18, 2007 @ 2:28pm | As stated in this topic, anyone who has upgraded their browser (or has had it automagically upgraded for them) to IE 7, will no longer be able to use the FlexCMS Page Editor.
In order to expedite answering one of our most common questions, we've prepared the following instructions for rolling back IE 7.
NOTE: Visit this topic at Microsoft for specific info on how to roll back IE 7 according to what release you are on, etc.
In a nutshell, these steps should work as well*.
From your desktop, click on:
Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
Then select IE 7 for uninstall. Note: It may say Internet Explorer 7.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0, etc.
After removing IE 7, you'll automatically revert back to IE 6. You DO NOT need to reinstall IE 6 again. From here just restart your browser and you should see the FlexCMS Page Editor button in the edit mode of your pages.
* We strongly advise you review Microsoft's specific information on rolling back IE 7 before uninstalling it on your computer.
