I tried to install Flex Cms but I received the following error:
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /home.5/p/i/e/pierresd/www/store/install.php on line 468
Could not connect to database
Could you help?.

Did you create the database before doing your install? If yes, are you sure you have the correct datbase name/password, etc? See this topic for assistance:

If that doesn't help, please send an email to and provide us with your Operating System, Versions of PHP, MySQL and Apache as well as the FlexCMS URL and username/passwords for FTP and PHPMyAdmin and we'll take a closer look for you.
