FlexCMS 3.0 Bug & Enhancement Release

| FlexCMS 3.0 Bug & Enhancement Release | April 1, 2009 @ 6:54pm | Several minor bugs have been fixed in the latest release of FlexCMS. Any downloads of the 'full' or 'upgrade' packages before April 1, 2009 @ 6:48 pm EDT should be downloaded again, and any installations made from those files should be updated if you experience or wish to avoid any of the problems below.
The fixes included are as follows;
- inc-mb-thread_post.php - Link contained in notification email for creation of new threads was incorrect.
- inc-core-admin-levels-save.php - Changing the level number of a permission level resulted in the permission checkboxes being cleared.
- fckeditor/fckconfig.js, inc-core-admin-blocks.php, inc-core-admin-blocks-edit.php, inc-core-admin-pages.php, inc-core-admin-pages-edit.php, inc-na-admin-articles.php, inc-na-admin-articles-edit.php, inc-nl-admin-newsletter_compose.php, inc-nl-admin-newsletter_preview.php - Button to insert an image or link, or upload a new image or link, from within the HTML editor didn't function when the FlexCMS script name has been changed from "index.php" to something else.
To apply any or all of these fixes to a current installation, download the "upgrade" package and replace just those files. If you wish you can also upload all the files in the "upgrade" package (except the upgrade.php file itself). There are no database changes required. None of these deal with any security issues, so updating only needs to be done as required for the features listed above.

| Minor Bugs Fixed - Apr 5, 2009 | April 5, 2009 @ 10:13pm | Several minor bugs have been fixed in the latest release of FlexCMS. Any downloads of the 'full' or 'upgrade' packages before April 5, 2009 @ 8:59 pm EDT should be downloaded again, and any installations made from those files should be updated if you experience or wish to avoid any of the problems below.
The fixes included are as follows;
- inc-core-admin-editor-link2.php - Pages and articles with quotes in their names caused the link dropdown to not appear in the file manager.
- inc-core-admin-filemanager-functions.php - Workaround added to compensate for bug in PHP getimagesize() function not handling certain file types correctly.
- Upgrade Script, upgrade.php - Option added to upgrade script to allow bypassing of file & folder import if issues are still encountered.
To apply any or all of these fixes to a current installation, download the "upgrade" package and replace just those files. If you wish you can also upload all the files in the "upgrade" package (except the upgrade.php file itself). There are no database changes required. None of these deal with any security issues, so updating only needs to be done as required for the features listed above.

Any downloads of the 'full' or 'upgrade' packages before April 8, 2009 @ 12:07 am EDT should be downloaded again, and any installations made from those files should be updated if you experience or wish to avoid the problem below.
The fix included is as follows;
- inc-core-admin-filemanager-functions.php - Thumbnails not correctly created on new file uploads after changes made with previous release.
To apply fix to a current installation, download the "upgrade" package and replace just that file. If you wish you can also upload all the files in the "upgrade" package (except the upgrade.php file itself). There are no database changes required. None of these deal with any security issues, so updating only needs to be done as required for the features listed above.

| Minor Bugs Fixed & Features Added - Apr 19, 2009 | April 19, 2009 @ 7:00pm | Several minor bugs have been fixed in the latest release of FlexCMS. Any downloads of the 'full' or 'upgrade' packages before April 19, 2009 @ 6:40pm EDT should be downloaded again, and any installations made from those files should be updated if you experience or wish to avoid any of the problems below.
The fixes and features included are as follows;
- inc-core-admin-filemanager-functions.php (Language Pack Addition) - Scan For Changes function reworked to prevent timing out after reaching the PHP script execution time limit when importing large amounts of files and folders.
- inc-core-admin-filemanager.php - Maximum upload file size number now displayed correctly when FlexCMS limit lower than PHP's. The limit was calculated correctly, but PHP's limit was always displayed even if it wasn't the limit being used. FlexCMS reads PHP's file upload limit along with its own and uses the lower of the two.
- inc-core-admin-filemanager.php - Maximum file size displayed below the file upload box when uploading directly from the HTML editor.
- inc-core-admin-preferences.php, inc-core-admin-preferences-save.php (Language Pack Addition) - Option added to modify the maximum file size for uploading through the File Manager.
- inc-cl-idx.php - Holidays and events now line up on the correct day when the server is within Daylight Saving Time.
- inc-core-admin-settings.php - Timezone dropdown now defaults to current setting correctly when the server is within Daylight Saving Time.
- inc-core-admin-blocks-bw_linkstopages.php - Double quotes and ampersands now correctly displayed in the Header, Footer, and Spacer sections when editing Block Wizard Links To Pages blocks.
- inc-lm-idx.php - Links category descriptions now also display on the page along with the links in that category, instead of just in the listing for the category in its parent.
- /fckeditor/fckconfig.js - HTML editor should now work correctly on browsers set to languages other than English. Previously they produced JavaScript errors and the editor was not displayed, just a white box. You may need to clear your browser's cache after replacing this file.
- Upgrade Script, upgrade.php - Importing of files and folders for File Manager moved to separate area at the end after the rest of the upgrade process has been completed. Improvements to prevent timing out on large amounts of files and folders also added.
To apply any or all of these fixes to a current installation, download the "upgrade" package and replace just those files. If you wish you can also upload all the files in the "upgrade" package (except the upgrade.php file itself). There are no database changes required. None of these deal with any security issues, so updating only needs to be done as required for the features listed above.
