Moving a site | April 19, 2005 @ 8:27am | Silly question.
After evaluating and testing FlexCMS on my ISP's server, I now wish to move my site to a permanent location.
How do I go about it ?
I know it's not just a matter of changing the site URL main folder address (it's a sub folder called "test" in my main site), as I see from many of the the database tables that there are references to the existing site URL.
Is there a routine (either FlexCMS or SQL) anywhere that can do the necessary changes for me so that I don't miss any of them ?
As I said, it seems to be a silly question, but maybe not ?
How about if I needed to change my ISP ? The same thing would be required.
Any thoughts ? |

By the way, is there a search facility on this forum ? Would make it a bit easier to find these odd hints and tips. |

| April 19, 2005 @ 9:48am | Your welcome Gordon!
At this time we do not have a search option, but we are working on that for our next release. We may however, implement a search feature here in beta if time permits, but I do not have a date for when that will be at this point in time.
If you have reviewed the boards for your question and haven't found an answer, just open a topic and we'll be happy to assist you.
