Log In Issue | August 11, 2005 @ 9:51am | Hi there,
I am running on MySQL 2.55 Unix server and have installed everything according to instruction. Upon completion of it all, you would think things are going well, until the login at the very end. First it goes to an unknown page on my site, then just shows the Flex/CMS logo at the top of the page and nothing else. Upon Source check, I see nothing in the body. ( www.ebizcard.ca/RMS/memhtml/install.php/login.html ; or www.ebizcard.ca/RMS/memhtml/index.php/login.html)
I have noticed in other boards that you have mentioned in correcting the index.php file on line 86 for some other, what I would think are, similar issues. I don't have an index.php located anywhere after the installation. I have found this to be quite disheartening to say the least as I thought I had a solution for something I am attempting to do.
If you have a fix for this I would appreciate any feedback ASAP as I have a client who wishes to see the functionality of this, but if I can't even get it to load properly, then it is redundant in even talking with them about it.
I appreciate any response.
With thanks,
John MacDonald

| August 11, 2005 @ 10:56am | Hi John,
Sorry to hear you're having problems installing FlexCMS. I don't see the FlexCMS logo or anything in your sub-sub-directory. In fact, I get a page cannot be displayed message. Have you removed the subfolder?
My next question is are you certain that your server meets our requirements?
The unix server should be fine and our minimum requirements are:
Apache 1.3.29 - 1.3.33 PHP 4.3.3 - 4.3.9 MySQL version 4.0.15 - 4.0.22 (standard)
We'd be happy to assist you further, but would need to see a copy of your phpinfo file and/or ftp access to your account to try and debug it, but again, your server must meet the minimum requirements in order to install and run FlexCMS.
If you are unfamiliar with how to create a phpinfo file, please let me know and I'll give you the info.
If you need to send any information you wouldn't want to post here (phpinfo/ftp), please email it to support@flexcms.com so that we can keep that confidential.
Thanks!
